This information comes from the LinkedIn profile of Warner Bros. Entertainment’s Senior Global Brand Manager, which confirms this number to be from the game’s launch.Hogwarts Legacysold over 12 million copieswithin its first two weeks, generating over $850M in this time frame.

Hogwarts Legacyhas continued to hold a high position in various sales charts, adding a significant number to this total over the past couple of months. The information was originally revealed on May 20, 2025, so these numbers should have seen a noticeable increase since then.

Hogwarts Legacywill soon launch on more platforms, which will undoubtedly add to its total. However, most cross-generation games appear to be selling way more on PS5 and Xbox Series X as opposed to their last-gen counterparts, so it’ll be interesting to see if the PS4 and Xbox One release of the game makes an impact.
