OneCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2player shows off their impressive and hilarious killcam clip, adding insult to injury for an opposing player who decided to equip the Survivor perk. For most competitive online franchises likeOverwatch, Rainbow Six Seige,orCall of Duty, the final killcam shows off the final play of the match. However, some have used this opportunity to showcase their skill by performing a stylish play, such as abouncing throwing knife in aModern Warfare 2match, or sometimes a hilarious way that the match came to an end.
While it can be entirely difficult to predict or time when the final kill will happen, some players actively prepare for it by attempting to time a kill just as they believe when the match will end in the hopes to be showcased. On occasion, things can go a bit off track, such as one attempt by theModern Warfareplayer attempting to pull off a flashy execution finishermove, only to have a teammate completely steal the final kill. However, this latest killcam clip feels like a player getting revenge on another player for their decision to equip a specific perk loadout.

Over on theCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2subReddit, a user named Lad_of_the_Lake posted a short clip of their final killcam. In this case, Lad_of_the_Lake takes down an enemy player with a scoped rifle, though instead of the player dying as expected, they go down thanks to the Survivor perk which allows the player to get back up if they’re given enough time. Survivor, or Last Stand as it has been known previously, is anUltimateMW2perk that has quickly become an annoyance to many playersas it essentially forces the player to kill the enemy twice in order to get credit.
However, in this case, Lad_of_the_Lake decided to have a bit of fun with the downedModern Warfare 2player by placing a proximity mine down at their feet. Allowing the enemy player to get up, the mine triggered, and their body was sent flying through the air, looking even more hilarious in the slow motion enabled final killcam. The video clip quickly became a hit on the subReddit as many praised the tactics used on a Survivor perk user, while others just loved to see how hilarious the whole thing looked as the final play.
Last month, some players were unable to witness the final play of their matches due to a bug thatdisabled killcams in certainModern Warfare 2game modes. Thankfully, the issue was corrected after a bit of investigation by Infinity Ward, ensuring that plays like the one above could again be witnessed and shared through the community.
