Halo Infinite’s campaign is filled with hidden skulls that players can find. These include fan favorites like “Grunt Birthday Party” and “Boom.” Some ofHalo Infinite’s skulls, though, like the one hidden at the Command Spire, can only be discovered during a mission.
Halo Infiniteis similar to the rest of the franchise in that it provides players skulls to enhance the gameplay experience. These skulls often make the game more difficult or sillier for players, andHalo Infinite’s system of unlocking skulls is one that improves uponthe standardHalocampaign experience. The skulls inInfinitehave been hidden in crazy places, which require players to use abilities and creativity, and so it can be hard to find them all.

What Skull is Hidden at the Command Spire?
The skull hidden at the Command Spire is the Mythic skull.This skull makes theInfinitecampaign infinitely harder.Essentially, it gives all the enemies in the game more health. This means that every fight is more difficult, and the boss encounters can be very tricky. It also adds another layer of skill to the game.
The skull can be found during the Nexus mission and players cannot go back and do it later. Once the mission is finished, gamers will have to play through the campaign again to get to the same point and find the skull. For that reason, it’s important to know the location of the skull before entering the Command Spire.
How to Get the Mythic Skull
Players will need to use the grapple ability in order to reach the skull. The Nexus mission is a long one, but players will know they have reached the area containing the hidden skull when they arrive in a long chamber separated by three impenetrable orange energy barriers. The section is the first area players will see after they hop off a gravity lift late in the mission.
Once at the end of the chamber, andafter all the Command Spire enemies have been killedin the area, players will notice that large metal blocks will come floating through the orange energy barriers. Players will need to instantly use the grapple ability to get on top of one of these blocks. Once there, they need to look up and use the grapple again to get onto a little platform in the ceiling. Once there, there is another platform that players will need to grapple to. Then they will be able to see a closed blue door. When they enter the doorway, they will be led to a chamber containing the Mythic skull.
The whole process of getting the skull shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. The most time-consuming part is killing all of the enemies in the chamber below the skull.The skull is valuable to anyHaloplayerwho wants the challenge of beating the game on it’s highest level of difficulty, or for new players who want to attempt playing through the campaign with the Mythic skull. Mythic is one of the most impactful skulls in the game and it take the experience to a completely different level.
All told,Halo Infinitecontains twelve skullsthat players can find. And, while the Mythic skull doesn’t have the whimsey of the Grunt Birthday Party skull, it’s still a great addition to the game. For anyHalofans looking to get the most out of the campaign, Mythic is a much-have modifier.
