Cosmetics inHalo Infinitehave been something of a controversial topic of conversation among the game’s community ever since it launched due to the digital storefront’s high prices for simple in-game items. 343 Industries has been steadily introducing new items to the store, but one player ran into a bot with two never before seen cosmetics that seem to be coming to the game at some point in the future.

Posted to the sub-Reddit r/Halo by Reddit user u/NoxDrakon, a screenshot of a match’s endgame screen shows a bot with black, blue, and purple armor, a color scheme not currently available in any way inHalo Infinite. The bot’s pose is also notable as it features the spartan standing menacingly with an energy sword despite the weapon’s absence in the available poses.

It seems like semi-randomized cosmetic kits that the bots usually have ended up snagging some unlockables that aren’t currently available to players yet. While the items might have been revealed before they were supposed to, it’s nice to see that343 Industries has plans for the game’s cosmeticsoutside of what’s currently able to be seen in the armor hall.

While much ofHalo Infinite’s contentcan be unlocked in either the campaign or with the battle pass, there’s still plenty of items that are showcased with a label saying “coming soon,” so it’s good to know that there’s even more coming to the game than what can be seen on the surface. Some commenters reminisced about the days ofHalo 3when Bungie employees would jump into matchmaking games with different armor sets before it was officially available as a way to tease what’s to come.

One commenter, u/Elite1111111111, claims that the stance is coming soon ina Tenrai bundle, likely the next time that the event goes live, and that the skin will be available in a Cyber Showdown bundle according to a recent datamined leak. Given the nature of leaks, it’s important to take the information with a grain of salt, however, a lot of what’s been seen hidden away inHalo Infinite’s code has proven to be accurate.

Fans have been hoping for some changes to come toHalo Infinite’s cosmetic storesince its launch, but 343 Industries seems to be standing firm with its prices. When compared to other free-to-play shooters likeApex LegendsandCall of Duty: Warzone,Halo’s cosmetics seem to in line with their economies, but fans still aren’t happy with the changes from previousHaloentries.

Halo Infiniteis available now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
