With the game’s pool of characters constantly expanding, it seems like every new update features two limited five-star characters. Most of these characters have a signature five-star weapon that perfectly fits their strengths and overall playstyle. Developer HoYoverse has a pattern of featuring five-star characters and their signature weapons within the same banner cycle. For example, the current weapon banner features the claymore Song of Broken Pines and catalyst The Dodoco Tales which are weapons designed for Eula and Klee.A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddithas revealed more info about weapons that will arrive in the second half of 3.8. According to the leak, phase 2 ofGenshin Impactversion 3.8will feature the following weapons:
Tulaytullah’s Remembrance is a five-star catalyst introduced forthe famous Anemo user Wandererwhose banner re-run has been confirmed for Phase 2 of update 3.8. Wanderer is a unique DPS character who has one of the most specific playstyles in the game. This weapon can be used by any catalyst user in the game whose kit revolves around Normal and Charged Attacks.
Everlasting Moonglow is another five-star catalyst that perfectly fits the playstyle of apopular Hydro user named Sangonomiya Kokomi. The introduction of the Dendro elemental reactions has completely redefined Kokomi’s place in Genshin Impact’s character meta and she’s by many considered a must-have Hydro character.
Even though the two five-star catalysts are considered S-tier, many fans are not happy with the four-star lineup as it consists of generic weapons that have been part of the game for a very long time. Over the last couple of months,Genshin Impactplayers have beenasking HoYoverse to rework the way their four-star drops work.
Genshin Impactis available now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version also in development.
