EachGenshin Impactcharacter has a very specific design backed by an interesting story that takes place in the world of Teyvat. The game’s unique approach to character design often inspires fans to replicate them in different environments.
Genshin Impactis based on the gacha system that allows players to spend their Primogems on character banners which change every three to four weeks. Once a limited banner is gone, players have to wait months for another chance to pull for a certain character.

An interesting post on the officialGenshin Impactsubreddit shows an interesting fan-made concept which bringsGenshin Impactcharacters to thePokemonworld. Reddit user JhayAlejo has become a popular name on the subreddit thanks to multipleGenshin-related artworks shared so far. This time around, JhayAleyo has tried to reimagine fivepopularGenshin Impactcharactersas Pokemon, including all three evolution stages for some of them. The art includes the following characters: Yun Jin, Shenhe, Yae Miko, Ayato, and Raiden Shogun.
This concept was well received in the community as it gathered over 4,000 upvotes, and fans are already wondering which characters will be next. All the concepts embody eachGenshin Impactcharacter and even though they look completely different, it’s very easy to recognize the relations between the characters and the Pokemon. For example, Kitzura is clearly based on Yae Miko thanks to the five tails displayed. Yae Miko has become one of the most popular characters since her first appearance back inGenshin Impactupdate 2.0. She was obtainable on the first banner cycle of the current update 2.5.
Another limited five-star character presented in the art is currently available. The popular Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun, is available on the ongoing double banner re-run alongside another five-star character, Sangonomiya Kokomi. Their second appearance has become the secondmost pulled banner in theGenshin Impact’s history, right after Raiden Shogun’s first arrival. Players should try to get their hands on these characters considering that their banner ends in a couple of days.
Their banner will be followed up by the release of a brand-new character named Kamisato Ayato who has also found his place in the new Pokemon gang. The official livestream forGenshin Impactupdate 2.6has confirmed that Ayato is a five-star Hydro character. The skill showcase presented in the stream hints that he will be either a main DPS or a sub-DPS character. Unlike most new characters, Ayato will arrive alongside the Anemo Archon, Venti.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
