According to multiple leaks, Chasm will have an interesting radial design with six new teleport points includinga new Statue of The Seven. The arrival of this region has been rumored for many months since its name has always been displayed on the current map of Liyue. Even though miHoYo keeps adding new explorable terrain with each new update, multiple leaks have already revealed that another major nation by the name Sumeru could be added in future updates. The story that revolves around Chasm will apparently serve as an introduction to the nation of Sumeru.

It’s also stated that Sumeru could be similar to the islands of Inazuma which were introduced in September 2021. Each nation in the game revolves around its own respective Archon and its divine ideals which are order, freedom, justice, etc. In the case of Sumeru, the God of Wisdom rules in the pursuit of all knowledge. Even though he is one of the rare leaders whose identity hasn’t been revealed yet, it is well known that Sumeru’s Archon is the youngest out of thesevenGenshin ImpactArchons.
