One of the biggest surprises from The Game Awards 2019 was the reveal ofGodfall, which is in active development for PC and PlayStation 5.Godfallwas announced with an impressive cinematic trailer, but the only official gameplay footage released of the game has been in GIF form. However, it appears that’s going to change soon, as a full-fledgedGodfallgameplay trailer has leaked online, showing off combat, enemies, and more.

TheGodfallgameplay trailer gives fans a look at the game’s highly-detailed armor, brilliantly-lit environments, and hard-hitting melee combat. The game looks to be providing quite a bit of variety when it comes to enemy types, including rogue-like enemies, hulking knights, and even a fire-breathing creature of some sort.

Godfallis a 3-player co-op experience, and in the spirit of that, the leaked footage also shows some co-op action. The leakedGodfallgameplay trailer only shows off some brief glimpses of co-op, though, so fans will have to wait to see more. As for when the trailer will have its official release, that remains to be seen, but one has to imagine that the trailer will be released to the public sooner rather than later.

One possibility is that thisGodfallgameplaytrailer is being prepared to show off alongside the PlayStation 5 console. Rumors have been swirling for months that Sony is planning to host a PS5 reveal event in February, with both February 5 and February 12 said to be the PS5 reveal dates. Sony itself has yet to officially announce its PS5 reveal plans, but with the console set to launch this holiday season, one has to imagine that a reveal is coming sooner rather than later.

SinceGodfallwas the first PS5 console-exclusive gamerevealed to the public, it would make sense to showcase it alongside the reveal of the console itself. As it so happens,Godfallis one of the games mentioned in the big PS5 leak that has been making the rounds online, though that could just be a coincidence as it’s quite possible that supposed “leak” is fake. With February almost upon us, though, thePS5 revealrumors should be laid to rest soon.
