FortniteSeason 5 just kicked off earlier this week, but Epic Games has already issued another update for the popular battle royale. The latestFortniteupdate addresses some shotgun balancing issues in the game, as well as disables one of the new Season 5 features, as it’s been causing some problems.

First off, the latestFortniteupdate buffs both the Charge and Dragon’s Breath shotguns. For the Dragon’s Breath,Fortniteplayers will notice that the gun now has better range and increased damage. The Charge Shotgun, meanwhile, has increased ammo capacity, damage, and reload speed. This should go a long way in ensuring that theseFortniteSeason 5shotguns don’t feel underpowered compared to other shotguns and different kinds of guns in the game.

Meanwhile, the newFortniteSeason 5 feature that’s been disabled is sand tunneling.Fortnite’s sand tunnelingwas causing an exploit that would turn players invisible and essentially give them “god mode.” Of course, this gaveFortniteplayers who abused the exploit a significantly unfair advantage, so it makes sense that Epic has disabled the feature while it works on a fix. Epic Games has been known to disable features inFortniteregularly if problems crop up, and it usually doesn’t take long for them to be added back to the game.

Fans of the popular battle royale can expectFortniteSeason 5 to continue getting updates on a weekly basis, and likely even multiple times per week. Not only will Epic be addingnewFortnitechallengesfor players to complete, but it will continue trying to better-balance the guns in the game, and it may even add new locations or features, if previous seasons of the battle royale are any indication.

Some of the most notable new content coming toFortnitefor Season 5 will be the new skins.FortniteSeason 5 has already made headlines thanks to some of the skins that are now in the game, which include The Mandalorian from the popular Disney+ TV series of the same name, as well asKratos fromGod of War. Leaks have indicated thatHalo’s Master Chief will be joining the fight at some point in the near future as well, resulting in one of the biggest gaming crossover events ever.

With both PlayStation and Xbox throwing in some of their biggest characters, some fans have theorized thatMetroid’s Samus Aranwill also be coming toFortnite, though that has yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, fans can keep playing the BR, completing challenges and trying to finish up the Battle Pass.
