With the reveal trailer ofFortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 4 came plenty of reveals, some of whichshook theFortniteworldand the island of the game itself. New changes have come to the game, and there are plenty of directions that the new story content could take players in.
A New Island Villain
As chrome seeps acrossFortnite, trouble brews on the islandthat seemed so peaceful for such a short while. After the defeat of the Imagined Order, the Loopers and the Seven took a much-deserved rest. However, IO isn’t the only threat to the island, and now The Herald makes their way to theFortniteisland asits newest villain.
This peculiar-looking alien is also known as the Bloom Queen and is the one responsible for the weird plant growth acrossFortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 3, as well as the impact of chrome that has begun spreading, as she can control it at will.

Brie Larson Is Paradigm
Fans became ecstatic once Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was revealed as the main member of the Seven, the Foundation. Since then, the character has made several appearances in crossover comics and has a heavy weight of theFortnitelore on his shoulders. However, that weight is now easier, asBrie Larson has enteredFortniteas Paradigm.
Brie Larson was revealed as Paradigm in the cinematic trailer forFortniteChapter 3, Season 4. It seems as though it’s up to Paradigm to save the reality of this island, and the story content will surely unfold week by week. It begs the question of which celebrity will join the Seven next.

The Seven Falls
As far as a group of heroes goes, the Seven inFortnitearen’t exactly on the best terms. Their members seem rather divided in the multitude of lore that has been expanded on the weekly basis of the game, as well as the many comics they are included in. However, it seems that as of the first week of Chapter 3, Season 4, the Seven has lost three members to chrome.
The Visitor, the Scientist, and the Origin were all consumed by the chrome and turned into goo that is now expanding across the map. The loss of these characters may not be permanent, considering the talents who provide their voices and the importance of the Seven. Their fate remains to be seen for now though, and whateverrole the Looper will playis yet to be revealed.

Players Can Become Chrome Goo
With the island submerged in chrome, players can travel through the chrome structures as if they were doors or a waterfall. Players can step through walls that areencased in chrome, and can also find the item Chrome Splash. This item is a throwable item that has many benefits for the player.

Players can use this Chrome Splash to turn themselves into a full chrome version of their character, and then press a button to turn themselves into goo and travel around the map at a rapid pace. This chrome goo only lasts for a minute, but they can get some pretty great speeds in this form.
Spider-Gwen Swings Onto The Island
For many seasons,Fortnitehas had a great relationship with other companies like Marvel and DC. Many famous characters from both pop culture and celebrity culture have made their way as playable characters on theFortniteisland, and now, with Chapter 3, Season 4,Spider-Gwen joins the fight.
Spider-Gwen is yet another Marvel character to appear onFortnite, and her character model seems directly taken fromSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It comes complete with an accurate face of the film’s Gwen Stacey and graphic effects similar to those seen in the movie.

Autumn Arrives
Many events occur inFortnite, and a lot of them can be seasonal.Fortniteoften does events for the summer and the holidays, but, more recently, it seems that a Halloween event is fast approaching. Autumn has dawned on theFortniteisland, andReality Falls has lost its leaves, with trees around the map growing red and orange leaves.
With Autumn approachingFortniteisland, only time will tell what spooks and scares await the game and its players. PerhapsFortnitemares will return for yet another year, and with it, a bunch of alternate game modes and skins in the item shop.

Chrome Paradise
Strange trees began to grow across theFortniteisland in Chapter 3, Season 3. These trees spread throughout theFortnitemap as the season progressed, and now, players know just what these ominous trees were growing for. It was for invasion, that of a chrome material that seeps across the ground and consumes all that it touches.
This chrome has been the destructor of some story characters, as well as the cause of alteration for certain parts of the map. This chrome is far from a “paradise” as this season suggests, and many are curious as to where this season will take players, considering the chrome shows no signs of slowing down its invasion of the island.

Fortniteis free-to-play on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
