Mediatonic’sFall Guyshas recently gone free to play, and tons of new players have jumped into the fun bean-filled chaos as a result. Just as the game was made much more accessible, a leak revealed thatMediatonic planned to collaborate withSonic the Hedgehoga third time for an all-outSonic-themed event, complete with a dedicated map. Now that event is currently live, and it comes with five dedicated skins for fans to obtain.

Back in 2020,Fall Guyshad aSonic the Hedgehogskin that was available for 20 Crowns - 10 for the Upper part and 10 for the Lower part. This meant that players could redeem the skin by simply winning 20 rounds or paying real money to obtain the costume. Knuckles was also added to the game the following year for 22k Kudos. However, the oldSonicskins, along with three new ones, are currently obtainable through a different method.

How to get the Sonic Skins in Fall Guys

The newSonicevent adds Tails, Dr. Eggman, andSuper Sonicskins to make a rather large line-up of options for fans. However, even though they were added as part of the Sonic’s Adventure event and are available until it ends, they can’t be earned as part of the event’s rewards at all. The only cosmetic item players get for playing in Bean Hill Zone is an item for Sonic’s shoes.

For those who wish to take home the new legendary skins, they’ll need to purchase them from the shop using Show-Bucks, which isFall Guys' new premium currency after going free to play.

While players can earn Show-Bucks through the season pass for free, the sheer number ofSonicskins available means that players will have to pay a hefty Show-Bucks penny to obtain all five. Adding up all the skins, players will need topay 3,400 Show-Bucksfor all of them, using the bundles for Sonic and Knuckles, Tails and Eggman, and including the “You’re Too Slow” emote.

How to Get Show-Bucks

Show-Bucks can be obtained in two ways. Either by playing the game and working through the Season Pass for a total of 1,500 Show-Bucks or by purchasing them through microtransactions.

However, theFall GuysSeason Passcan be incredibly slow, especially for new players, so it’s most likely not worth it to try and earn the Show-Bucks for free during the duration of the Sonic’s Adventure event. It’s much better to simply purchase the Show-Bucks if fans can afford it.

How many Show-Bucks fans need depends on which skins players want and if the bundles interest them. For those that wish to own all five skins and the emote, they might want to look at the bundle for 5,000 Show-Bucks, but for fans only wishing to own theirfavoriteSoniccharacter, they can easily walk away with the skin for only $8. Due to the fact that Show-Bucks need to be paid for with fans' real money, they may want to think wisely before making their purchase.
