Surviving Marsis a comprehensive survival city-builder based on the red planet, with players having to learn to survive on its desolate surface. That means sourcing food, maintaining manpower, mining minerals, and generally ensuring settlements can cope with the harsh terrain they’re built upon. Along the way, players will encounter eerie mysteries and other secrets they’ll have to uncover, withSurviving Marscoming complete with intricate storylines to experience. The game managed to score a 76 on Metacritic at release, with reviewers praising its high production values and compelling gameplay.
Next week’s title,The Fall,is a story-focused, sci-fi adventure game where players take on the role of an AI with control of an unconscious astronaut’s spacesuit. The crux of the game sees them navigate the human back to safety, as they traverse a creepy alien planet filled with hostile enemies to fight and problems to solve.The Fallwas lauded for its narrative and thick atmosphere at release, with its PC port bagging a 76 on Metacritic. It’s become a renowned indie release following its debut and one that will no doubt make for a solid addition to players' libraries.
