Preceptor Miriam is one of those encounters that a lot ofElden Ringplayers loathe. The awkward arena, long chases, and the presence of other enemies make this a memorable but painful battle. Fans of previous FromSoftware games have likened this enemy encounter to that of Micolash,Host of the Nightmare fromBloodborne. The location where the fight takes place is similarly unforgiving, and the boss battles are certainly reminiscent of each other. Both fights are remembered for being excruciatingly long and players of both games typically dislike each fight for that reason. For the most part, it is melee users who have a hard time taking down Preceptor Miriam due to her teleportation ability and long-range attacks.
