The 2017 reboot ofDuckTaleshas been an impressive return to form for a brand that first launched in 1987. After 3 seasons, however, it would seem that the show’s time is coming to an end and Disney is pulling out all the stops to verify it’s one to remember. TitledThe Last Adventure, the finale of the series will reportedly be 90 minutes long, the length of a typical feature film.

OriginallyDuckTalesran for 100 episodes and 4 seasons from 1987 to 1990. Following thegreedy businessman Scrooge McDuckand his grandnephews, the show had the 4 protagonists going on various adventures over the course of the show, usually intent on stopping some nefarious figure plotting to steal Scrooge’s fortune or antagonize his family.

That original show was popular enough to inspire quite a bit offan goodwill and spin-off merchandise, which eventually renewed interest in a potential reboot of the show for modern audiences. This new show would also be titledDuckTalesand launched in 2017 on Disney XD. As a modern version of the show, it had a slick new art-style and focused a little more on character development, including a bigger role for Donald Duck, who only had guest appearances on the original show.

All things must come to an end, however, and theDuckTalesreboot is winding down to its conclusion very soon. The final episode of the series will air on March 15th and will depict the protagonists in a final showdown with the Fiendish Organization for World Larceny, as well as a load of other characters popping in for their chance to say goodbye.

For those who missed them originally, the returning list of voices is quite impressive. The episode’s official synopsis includes a rundown of who is set to show up, and they certainly aren’t pulling any punches: “Returning guest voices includeLin-Manuel Miranda, Giancarlo Esposito, Julie Bowen, Jaime Camil, Jameela Jamil, Catherine Tate, Stephanie Beatriz, Paul F. Tompkins, Jim Rash, Margo Martindale, Jason Mantzoukas, John Hodgman, Retta, Kimiko Glenn, Libe Barer, Jaleel White, and Amy Sedaris. Noël Wells and Riki Lindhome guest star as sisters, June and May, respectively.”

With the series' good reputation and a cast list like that, the finale ofDuckTalesseems like something fans won’t want to miss. For those ready tosay their goodbyes, the finale episode will air on Disney XD in March.
