Since its release close to a year agoResident Evil 2 Remakehas been supporting a variety of creative mods. Some change the playable characters in the game, like a recentmod that addsThe Last of Us’ Ellie, but most are focused on swapping out the model for Mr. X with some pop culture equivalent.

Over the months sinceResident Evil 2 Remake’s release, the Mr. X mods have includedJason fromFriday the 13th, Pennywise fromIT, and even Thomas the Tank Engine. The latest, however, bucks the popular trend of fictional characters and instead replaces Mr. X with Twitch streamer Dr. Disrespect.

Interested fans of Dr. Disrespect or Resident Evil fans looking to spice up a future playthrough can download the mod from Nexus Mods. Search for the disrespect under theResident Evil 2tab.

Twitch Streamer Elajjaz is the one showing the Dr. Disrespect mod in action, which features all of the iconography that one would expect. Disrespect may not be that tall in real life, but the rest of the design is surprisingly spot on. He even gives out a yell of, “Raul” when hitting the player.

However, even though Dr. Disrespect is a real person he is more of a persona than a streaming personality. Guy Beahm dons the “prototype” shades, the mullet wig, and the Turtle Beach headset to become Dr. Disrespect, a foul-mouthed content creator that favors Battle Royale and PvP-focused games.

This Dr. DisrespectResident Evil 2 Remakemodreplaces the Tyrant/Mr. X modelwith a surprisingly well-rendered digital version of the “Two-Time” champion. Dr. Disrespect chases the player through the police headquarters spouted out some of his signature lines and also singing his impromptu, “Gillette, the best a man can get” song.

Obviously, theResident Evil 2remake mod is only entertaining to those who know Dr. Disrespect and find his persona entertaining. There are plenty that thing that Beahm’s shtick crosses a line, and even Twitch had to agree when Dr. Disrespect entered a bathroom at E3 2019 with a camera crew in tow.Disrespect’s Twitch channel was hit with a banfor about a week, but “The Doc” returned and didn’t miss a beat.

In fact, since top streamers like Ninja andShroud switched to Mixer, Dr. Disrespect has been more popular than ever. It’s why a mod like this can exist and very few people bat an eye.

Resident Evil 2 Remakeis available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
