ADiablo 4player has recently found an unexpected item in the game, a Sacred Rare Chest Armor that has Legendary properties. Legendary items have unique properties inDiablo 4, so the only reason why a Rare item would have them is likely due to a bug, which makes this armor unique.
Released last year,Diablo 4is currently in its fourth season: Loot Reborn, which completely rebalanced some aspects of the popular action RPG. Most of these changes were related to item affixes and drops, with the introduction of new features such as Tempering. However, despite all the overhauls in the game’s itemization systems, one gamer was able to find an item that should not exist.
A gamer called FR0ZENBERG recently shared a very weird and likely bugged “Legendary” Rare item that they had recently obtained inDiablo 4. The item itself, Paradong’s Ire, is a Sacred Rare Chest Armor with an item power of 680, which has some normal stats such as 1,190 Armor, and 26% Shadow Resistance, but also two “wrong” features. For one, the item has a unique effect that only Legendary items should have. Also, it comes with Damage Reduction, which is currently not possible to gain on normal items anymore. Unfortunately, this is a Level 56 item, so it’s not as useful for endgame players as it could be. Due to some gamers believing that FR0ZENBERG faked the post, they laterposted a videoproving that their Sacred Rare Chest Armor was real.
Diablo 4 Player’s Strange “Legendary” Item
It’s likely that no one else will find the same item as FR0ZENBERG did, though. Blizzard recently announced thatDiablo 4’s Season 5 will start on August 6. The upcoming season will change how some items work, and it will likely fix the unknown bug or weird interaction that made this strange item exist.
Bugged items are not unheard of inDiablo 4. For instance, oneDiablo 4player recently discovered a Dragon Staff with a weird name. In one screenshot shared by the gamer, it’s possible to see their Sorcerer with an item named “Dragon Staff_Other(No grammatical form from caller or noun markup)”.
Some other extremely rare items, however, are just very powerful, and likely more useful than bugged Rare Chests or staffs with weird names. Last month, for example, anotherDiablo 4player found an incredibly overpowered sword. Known as The Grandfather, this sword did 2454+124 damage per second and added +1642 maximum life and +44 to all the player’s stats.
