Loot lies in the heart ofDiablo 4,and Unique items serve as the ultimate chase for players who want to min-max their characters. The hunt for Uniques has gone through some changes since the game’s launch, and in this regard, there’s no bigger addition to the game than the ability to target-farm those coveted pieces of build-defining gear.
Torment-tier bosses were added toDiablo 4in Season of Blood, and they offer players a riveting challenge along with a chance to obtain Unique weapons and armor. Loot drops vary per boss, though, so here’s a quick cheat sheet on who drops what.

As such, we’ve updated this guide to include all Diablo 4 Season 9 Uniques and their drop locations, as well as the new drops of the lair bosses that were added in Season 8.

Duriel becomes a farmable boss once in Torment difficulty after they beat Grigoire and Varshan, who drop the essentialShards of Agony and Mucus-Slick Eggsitems needed for the King of Maggots. Get two of each of these, then go to theGaping Crevasse Level 100 dungeonin southern Kehjistan, southeast of Gea Kul.

Varshan is an excellent source of some ofDiablo 4’sbest Unique items,like the Bloodless Screamand Mad Wolf’s Glee. Players can find him hiding in the Malignant Burrow dungeon next to the Tree of Whispers in Hawezar. To summon Varshan, collectMalignant Heartsfrom Whisper caches, Nightmare Dungeons, elites, and Helltide bosses, and use them at the Putrid Altar inside the dungeon.

Grigoire can be found inthe Hall of the Penitent in the Dry Steppes, directly south of Ked Bardu. He can be summoned byoffering 12 Living Steel, a type of material that can be obtained from Tortured Offerings in Helltides, elite enemies, World Bosses, Whisper caches, Kurast Undercity, and the vendor in The Den.

The Beast in Ice is insidethe Glacial Fissure dungeonsouth of Kyovashad in the Fractured Peaks. To fight the boss, players must have a Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil, which is crafted using 250 Sigil Powder and12 Distilled Fear, a resource that can drop from any source that drops other ladder boss materials (Helltide chests, Nightmare Dungeons, Whisper caches, etc).
Lord Zir
Lord Zir isin the Darkened Way, a dungeon in the northern tip ofthe Gale Valley region in the Fractured Peaks. It can be found northeast of Yelesna. To summon Zir, players must collect12 vials of Exquisite Blood.
Yen’s Blessing
Malphas
As of Season of the Construct, Malphas does not have his own unique loot table. Instead, he has a chance to drop the following Unique Tuning Stones, which can be equipped on your Seneschal companion:
To summon andfight the Echo of Malphasin Season 3, players must bring 7 Igneous Cores, 3-4 Pearls of Warding, and 250 Shattered Stones to the Vault of the Loom in Gatehall. Enter the dungeon, spend your Pearls at the Zoltun Kulle statue, then offer the remaining materials to proceed.
Malphas was a boss exclusive to Season 3, and as of Season 6, players can no longer fight him.
Hand of Naz (Season 9)
Diablo 4Season 4introduced Andariel as one of the bosses players can fight in Torment difficulty. In order to reach her, you’ll need to first getSandscorched Shackles from Lord ZirandPincushioned Dollsfrom The Beast In Ice. Her loot table is exactly the same as Duriel’s.
Andariel basically acts as an alternative to Duriel. Her existence also boosts the value of Lord Zir and the Beast In Ice since they drop the materials needed to summon her. Players who find themselves fighting these two bosses frequently will eventually be able to challenge Andariel, giving them more chances to obtain powerful gear.
The Harbinger of Hatred has the exact same loot table as Duriel and Andariel. To fight it, players will need to collect three Abhorrent Hearts from Urivar.
This boss deals mostly Shadow damage, so make sure to prepare a set of gear with the right resistances. You can summon the Harbinger of Hatred by going to the Harbinger’s Den dungeon in Nahantu. It is also directly southwest of Gea Kul.
Urivar is a farmable lair boss found in theFields of Judgmentdungeon in Nahantu, just west of the Kichuk waypoint. To summon him, you’ll need toget 12 Judicator’s Masks, which you can get from Whisper caches, world bosses, and rewards from Kurast Undercity runs.
Diablo 4 Infernal Horde Loot Table
Infernal Horde was introduced inDiablo 4Season 5as a wave-based survival mode for endgame characters. The goal here is to complete all waves and beat the Fell Council without using up all available revives. Collect Burning Aether to open chests and earn plenty of loot. Among the items you can get here are the following:

Aspect of the Prudent Heart
These items and Aspects are not exclusive to the Infernal Horde, but they have a higher chance of dropping in this activity.
Mythic Uniques
Previously known as Uber Uniques, these items are as powerful as they are rare. Mythic Uniques have the lowest drop rates out of any item in the game, but they also come with the best stats and effects in the game. These itemscan drop from any boss.
