Summary
SomeDestiny 2players are asking Bungie to remove the Togetherness modifier from PvE.Gameplay modifiers inDestiny 2are properties that make certain activities, such as Strikes and Nightmare Hunts, even more difficult to complete. They change several aspects of the gameplay; for example, the Attrition impairs health regeneration, while the Locked Loudout removes the ability to swap equipment during the activity.
Destiny 2features various PvE activitiesthat reward players with valuable rewards and help them level up faster than usual. Some of these activities include Strikes, Raids, and Dungeons, where players can team up with friends and take on mobs of enemies. Each PvE content has its own structure and rules, and even higher difficulty missions like Nightfalls feature Champions to not only provide an additional challenge, but to boost scores and earn additional revives. Compared to other activities, Grandmaster Nightfalls have greater difficulty and give out better rewards.

Reddit user GlassChopsticks created a thread where manyDestiny 2players pointed out that the Togetherness modifier should be removed from all PvE activities. They went on to say that this property adds a new level of difficulty, which makes playing some cooperative activities, including Nightmare Hunts, even more frustrating. For those unaware, the Togetherness modifier reduces health regeneration when there are no nearby teammates. It requires players to stay close to each other, which is fairly difficult to achieve in more difficult PvE content.
FellowDestiny 2players on Reddit agreed that Togetherness shouldn’t exist like many other modifiers, with one claiming that it just makes the game less fun. Also, some claimed that when Togetherness is active, they usually feel reluctant to start that activity.
This is not the first timeDestiny 2players have noticed something wrong with the game, as they previously mentioned the lack of craftable void pulse rifles. They also complained about Bungie’s microtransaction strategy for The Witcher crossover, claiming that prices of cosmetic items will likely increase in the future.
Destiny 2players are now enjoying theSeason of the Wish, which features an assortment of content, from weekly missions and PvE activities to free rewards. One of the highlights of this season is the introduction of Riven’s Lair, a match-made activity that requires players to tackle challenging encounters in the lair of a creature named Ahamkara. Additionally, there are new legendary-class weapons, such as Scatter Signal and Doomed Petitioner, with which they can improve their loadout. Unless Bungie changes its plans, the Season of the Wish will conclude in June 2024.
