Despite there not being many Christmas or festive-themed games, there are plenty of family-friendly films set during the period that would make excellent video gaming content. The player could seek to create the biggest and brightest set of lights but be interrupted at certain intervals for a series of challenges against either the computer or other players. The Snowmanstill remains one of the most beautiful short films to take place over the Christmas season, as it places a young boy traveling through the sky on an adventure with the snowman he built. In terms of a video game structure, the game could be a flying-through-the-air simulation game where players get to explore abeautifully drawn cartoon world.

Content within the game could include flying to different locations and completing various building tasks, or scenes where they have to rescue or help characters make something. This would also involve meeting thevarious characters included in the film, such as Father Christmas, along the way. There would be plenty of opportunity to build more snowmen, of course, and watch them come to life.

The Christmas Chroniclesvideo game idea could consist of an adventure game helping Santa to deliver presents before the sun comes up and Christmas Day arrives. As in the film, Santa and the children do not have the help of a sleigh, the game would allow the player to search for helpful items or modes of transport in order to best get the presents to the appropriate locations.
Obstacles will present themselvesduring the game, such as obstructed pathways or confrontations from other characters, that the player would have to navigate their way around. Another challenge during the game could also be the game characters seeking to find the missing sleigh and collecting clues from items and people they pass in gameplay as to its location. They would have to use the information that they have gathered to try to get it to power up and fly in the sky.

Struggling to appreciate his surroundings, George meets a friendly ghost and gets to experience the world as if he does not exist. In a video game setting, the adaptation could exist like ‘The Game of Life,’ where the player gets to experience George’s life in chronological order.
Players would complete mini-games or tasks based on the different challenges that George himself faces. They could also complete mini quizzes or answer questions that change the entire direction of the game so that the character of George’s life is entirely in their hands. The fate of the game is dependent on the ability to play.
