Call of Duty: VanguardZombies is certainly shaping up to be an interesting take on the classic co-op mode. Alongside all the new features, it seems likeCall of Duty: Vanguardwill be giving players access to a brand-new perk.

Thus far, players do not have official confirmation on whichZombies perksare going to feature insideCall of Duty: Vanguard. Stamin-Up has been spotted in one of the official screenshots, though, letting players know that the sprint-focused buffs will be back. While other classic like Jugger-nog and Quick Revive can be expected, it certainly looks like at least one new perk will be made available. As spotted by Redditor clappin-and-slappin, one of the fountains players drink from features a brand-new logo.

When players useCall of Duty: Vanguard’s ancient gobletto drink from this fountain, they may be obtaining a perk that is entirely new. In the image, the drink seems to be yellow, though that could simply be caused by the lighting of the room where the fountain is sitting. As for the new logo, players can clearly see some teeth, with many already speculating about what the perk could be. One great theory comes courtesy of Reddit user MonsterHunter6353, and it builds off the logo’s fangs.

MonsterHuner6353 theorizes that this new perk could provide Vampire-like life steal benefits. InCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarZombies, players can get life steal for their melee attacks if they fully upgrade the skill tree. If a similar upgrade tier does not exist inCall of Duty: Vanguard, a melee attack that allows players to heal themselves could turn out to be a solid perk. WithCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waralso introducing a fresh perk in the form of Elemental Pop, adding something new once again would make sense.

Another idea fans have come up with is the return of aCall of Duty: Black Ops 4Zombiesperk. Specifically, Redditor bfs102 thinks the new logo could symbolize Blood Wolf Bite. While the perks inBlack Ops 4Zombies were divisive, one of the new additions that was unanimously praised was Blood Wolf Bite. The perk spawned a spectral wolf named Luna into the map, with the AI ally biting any Zombies that come near. The Modifier of the perk saw Luna dropping upgrades for the player, with free ammo and points being two potential drops.

WithDeath Perceptionreturning inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, it would not be completely out of the blue if anotherBlack Ops 4perk returned. Still, with a brand-new life steal perk also being a genuine possibility, it will be interesting to see what this perk ends up being.

Call of Duty: Vanguardlaunches November 5 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
