In just a week’s time, Activision will launchCall of Duty: Vanguard, the latest installment in the long-running first-person shooter franchise. Like other recentCall of Dutygames, Activision has big plans forCall of Duty: Vanguard’s post-launch support, with Season 1 set to kick off on December 2. While fans will have to wait about a month after theCall of Duty: Vanguardlaunch to jump into season 1, there will be some extra content released between now and then.

Call of Duty: Vanguardis launching on November 5 with a full-fledged campaign, Zombies, and a multiplayer mode with 20 maps. Then on November 17, fans can look forward to the addition of fan favorite map Shipment, which is getting a redesigned look to match the new game’s World War 2 setting. Shipment has consistently been one of theCall of Dutyfranchise’s most popular maps ever since it debuted inCall of Duty 4, so many will be happy to see it return inVanguard.

Then whenCall of Duty: VanguardSeason 1 launches on December 2, fans can look forward to an influx of new content. This will include new maps for theCall of Duty: Vanguardmultiplayer modes, new weapons, new cosmetic options, and updates to the Zombies mode.

Thanks toCall of Duty: Vanguard’s integration withCall of Duty: Warzone, there’s plenty for battle royale fans to look forward to as well. It’s been confirmed that theCall of Duty: WarzonePacific map, named Caldera, will arrive with Season 1 on December 2. The new map will be replacing Verdansk, offering players a brand new location to explore with new vehicles like planes.

LikeCall of Duty: Vanguard,Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers don’t have to wait until Season 1 to get their hands on some new content. Between November 5 and December 2,Call of Duty: Warzonewill start counting down the destruction of Verdansk. This will include limited-time modes and special events that all culminate in thecurrentCall of Duty: Warzonemapbeing wiped out and replaced with Caldera.
