While Activision expectedCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3to build upon the 2011 counterpart of the same name, it hasn’t had the most success in this regard. Some fans dislikeCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’stime to kill, while others have criticized how there are no worthwhile or powerful enemies to vanquish in the zombies mode. Recently, a user posted a picture on r/CODZombies, showing a flaw on the splash screen that the creators may have overlooked.
The user, EDK-Rise, noted that while loading the zombies mode inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the game displayed a splash screen with the “DMZ beta” icon in the top-left corner. The DMZ was a fan-favorite mode in the 2022Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.It allows players to engage in a free-for-all in Al Mazrah, where they can hunt for supplies, complete missions with other players, and also fight AI enemies before heading to the extraction point. The logo suggests the developers forgot to remove the DMZ splash screen before rolling out the game, possibly due toActivision’s decision to rushMW3’sdevelopment.
