Last week’sModern Warfare 3playlist updateadded Departures 24/7, Snipers Only, and Hordepoint: Hellhound Pound. The first two playlists are still available, although Hordepoint has since been updated to this week’s iteration. Hordepoint: Mimic Mania updates the mode to include Mimics, a powerful enemy fromModern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode. Mimics will spawn throughout a match of Hordepoint, which can be slain for a chance to collect a Mimic skull; users will need to collect 200 of these skulls to complete this week’s Horde Hunt challenge. The new Best of ‘09 playlist features classicModern Warfare 2(2009) maps, including Favela, Highrise, Rust, Scrapyard, Skidrow, and Terminal. As for game modes, Best of ‘09 features Kill Confirmed, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Domination. The update’s final new playlist, Meat 24/7, features Meat as its only map with a similar offering of game modes. Other playlists currently featured inModern Warfare 3and not already mentioned include 10v10 Mosh Pit, Small Map Mosh Pit, and Team Gun Game.

The exclusive skin, called The Beast, sees the user don a motocross helmet in combination with a Monster Energy-colored outfit.Call of Dutyhas not specified how long this promotion is available, so interested users should probably claim it sooner rather than later.
This promotion comes after recent news thatActivision is being sued by some of theCall of Dutycommunity’smost popular figures. Hector “Hecz” Rodriguez and Seth “Scump” Abner, both of OpTic Gaming fame, are reportedly suing the corporate giant for $680 million due to Activision allegedly strong-arming the game’s pro community into gathering under its official Call of Duty League banner.

Dataminers have found evidence of skins, badges, loading screens, and more that are themed around the popular sci-fi franchise.
