While he does not provide context, he lists a variety of high-profile Activision and EA titles alongside hisCall of Dutyprediction. In a later Tweet, he does clarify that he is referring to the sequel to the 2019 release, asCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2recently underwent a remasteringfor its community to enjoy.
Tom Henderson’s prediction is not completely unwarranted, asCall of Duty: Modern WarfareandCall of Duty: Warzonehave experienced amazing success since their launch. With fans still dedicated to the year-old titles, it would make sense for Activision to start Infinity Ward on moving the release forward. It is unknown ifCall of Duty: Warzonewill be integratedor still around, but the community seems dedicated to keeping these titles afloat.

Captain John Price, Nikolai, and several other familiar faces are expected to be released in the next installment.
