Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waroffers players a wide arrangement of scorestreaks to take advantage of in a match. With new scorestreaks added throughout each season, the list of possibilities is expected to grow. Still, some fans are worried as a rather popularCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warscorestreak has an unfortunately massive bug.

Scorestreaks are designed to be rewards for playing the objective and racking up tons of kills inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’smultiplayer game modes. While most of them can cause devasting damage, others offer much-needed support and can turn the tide of a match. One particularly popular scorestreak, the VTOL, is unable to do either due to a bug affecting its navigation systems.

In a clip posted to Reddit by Thirdgens37, the player is seen calling in a VTOL. Based on the title, they were fairly excited for an opportunity to use the powerful scorestreak on the open-styled map ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’sRaid. When they took control, they realized that the VTOL was unable to move and had become stuck in a single location. Although they could move the aiming reticle, the jet was locked into a single position, making it completely unusable as an aerial threat. Essentially, the player was stuck in a floating metal balloon that could easily shoot forward at a single section of the map.

ForCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers, this can become an exceedingly frustrating problem. The VTOL is a rather popular scorestreak, and to win it from a Care Package is an even more rare opportunity.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warfans have reportedthat the VTOL is not the only scorestreak getting stuck in place. Reports of the Chopper Gunner simply flying away, the VTOL getting stuck on other maps like Nuketown, show that there is a rather pressing boundary issue in the game not being confronted.

According to theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Wardeveloper Trello Board, this is not among the known issues list. While this does not mean that the developers are not aware of the issue, it does mean that it is not on the active list of content getting a fix in the near future. Till then, players are stuck with a chance that their beloved scorestreak may simply break if called in at the wrong location of the map.
