One factor that contributed to the show’s long-term popularity was the iconic art style used to create the characters, such as Timmy Turner, Cosmo, and Wanda.

In a post on TikTok, Butch Hartman decided to makeArthur Morgan fromRed Dead Redemption 2in the art style ofThe Fairly OddParents. The creator of the animated TV show decided to draw the video game character following a request from a fan. The almost one-minute video began with Hartman removing a group of pictures of other classic characters he had already drawn from a table. The “Main Theme” fromThe Good, the Bad and the Uglyfittingly began playing in the background as he drew Arthur Morgan.
Interestingly, the TikTok video gave a look at the drawing process Hartman employed. He began by making an outline of the character by lightly tracing it with a pencil. He then added a bunch of details to the design, revealing the look of theiconic character fromRed Dead Redemption 2. For example, he gave cartoon-version Arthur Morgan a cowboy hat along with some facial hair. Hartman then used what appeared to be a black marker to darken the lines, finishing the impressive drawing.
Since Butch Hartman posted thisTheFairly OddParents-style redesign of Arthur Morgan, many fans have been loving it on TikTok. In fact, the clip already has over 10.3K upvotes and numerous users complimented the drawing in the comments. In addition, some suggested other characters for Hartman to draw, including theDragonborn fromSkyrim.
It is worth pointing out that this sort of video is nothing new for Butch Hartman. The creator’s TikTok has gathered over 2.1M followers and 40.5M likes. Just some of thefamous characters Hartman has already drawn include Sephiroth, Spider-Man, the Hulk, and Goku. As his hundreds of TikTok videos evidence, Hartman seems to enjoy drawing popular characters in the art styles of the shows he has created, and it seems like he is not going to slow down soon.
