The Phoenix Fire is an intense goal explosion, that shows players the true power of a goal scorer. When the ball hits the net, the arena erupts in a screech as a fiery phoenix emerges from the goal, flapping its wings with elegance and power as it bursts into cinders over all those who can do nothing but watch.

To those who adore Marvel’s X-Men franchise, this goal explosion, whilst not a collab, reminds them of the dreaded power of the Phoenix Force harbored by Jean Grey. It’s definitely a power worth admiring, and fearing, especially since it can erupt with every goal scored.

Rocket Pass 1, Tier 11

As if it was hard enough to control one ball against a multitude of opponents, when scoring a goal with this explosion equipped, the arena will erupt with plenty of other balls, a cluster of chaos to fill the arena before it is cleared for the next round.

These balls might be recognized by some veteran players due to the fact that they have been featured across various game modes. The goal explosion itself might be exclusive to Season 1, but that just further cements this goal explosion’s legacy, and anyone with the carnage of these soccer balls exploding is a veteran to fear the skill of.

Sideswipe Challenge Reward In 2022

One of the first “crossover” rewards, the Calculated goal explosion was for those who playedRocket League Sideswipeand completed the in-game challenges within. Whilst this item is no longer available, perhaps that’s a good thing due to its toxicity and infamy, as the Calculated goal explosion shows one of the more annoying comments that players can make to tease other players.

In-game, players can repeatedly spam the “calculated.” text option to tease opponents who miss their goals, or to players who score. With this goal explosion, there’s no avoiding seeing that word appear, and it can get pretty annoying pretty fast.

It’s rare to find a goal explosion as powerful as the Gravity Bomb. To those who wield this goal explosion, it’s hard to miss, and players will have no choice but to witness the epic scoring potential of whoever wields this item. With Gravity Bomb, players are sucked into the net, pulled into a whirlwind of excited fury for scoring.

No car is left unscathed, and all that is near the net, whether attackers or defenders are pulled into the goal as if to celebrate the ball going in successfully. It’s one of the best goal explosions to draw attention to a goal, whether willing or not.

14Dunker

Season 7 Tournament Reward

Everyone loves donuts. Whether it’s sprinkles, chocolate, or just plain glazed. What better way to celebrate a goal than with a food fight consisting of a variety of different glazed donuts? Dunker is a fun goal explosion that will see donuts splatter around the pitch once a goal has been scored.

Luckily, these donuts don’t stick around as obstructions, and some poor car is going to have to clean them up before the next kick-off. It’s one of the more quirky additions toRocket League’s items, and definitely one of the friendlier variants that can be had.

Fans ofThe Nightmare Before Christmaswill enjoy thisRocket Leaguegoal explosion, since it features the iconic protagonist, Jack Skellington, emerging from the goal in an invasive fog, holding out some holiday lights and a sinister grin snarled onto his boned face.

Jack even cackles, as if to brag about the goal that has just been scored, rubbing the salt in the wound even more for the opponents. It might not be Halloween or Christmas, but this goal explosion is still a grand one to wield into victory.

There may be a few Batman-themed goal explosions inRocket League, but the one fromBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice takesthe top spot of the three Batman portrayals. When scoring, the goal will erupt with flair, and an ominous trombone will sound. Amidst this sound, is the arrival of a fiery Batman logo from Ben Affleck’s time as the Caped Crusader.

Cosmosis is a rare and powerful goal explosion indeed, as this variant of the goal explosion will alter the very fabric of reality. Upon scoring, players are immersed in a sci-fi audio cue, and then the entire map is filled with a cosmic reconstruction, altering the visuals of everything for but a moment.

Although players cannot continue through the match with the Cosmosis filter on, the fact that each goal dips its feet into space-time just to celebrate a carhitting a ball into a netis powerful indeed. Players can enjoy this one for its sci-fi aesthetic.

9Floppy Fish

Rocket Pass 5, Tier 11

The Floppy Fish goal explosion will have players wishing their cars were boats, and they could fish instead of drive. This wacky goal explosion is one of the more quirky ones inRocket League, and the moment players hit the ball into the net, they will have a barrage of celebration fish thatexplode from the net, slipping out onto the pitch.

These fish will flop around before despawning. It sounds wet, strangely gross, and will make players not want to score again if they are to be invaded by an army of helpless flopping fish. Nonetheless, it’s one of the funniestRocket Leaguegoal explosions out there.
