Summary
Forza Motorsportis the latest entry in the famed racing series and seeks to focus more on authentic track racing than the open-world exploration of some previous titles. With an emphasis on clean, competitive racing, players can choose from hundreds of different cars froma range of popular manufacturersaround the globe.
Cars are divided into different classes depending on their overall Performance Index (PI), which ensures that races are fair and competing cars are of a similar spec. The R Class includes vehicles that fall anywhere between 800 and 899 PI. Vehiclescan be upgradedto move higher up within their class, but their specs will be limited when competing with other cars of the same class if they exceed the PI limit.

102019 Bugatti Divo
With only 40 units ever being produced, the 2019 Bugatti Divo is most certainly a rarity and offers track performance that is equally impressive as its sleek andfuturistic design qualities. The vehicle’s main strengths lie in its straight-line speed and quick acceleration.
The car can be bought for418,000 credits. The Bugatti Divo has some impressive stats with10.0 Speedand8.9 Acceleration. It can be a bit trickier in corners, however, with only4.6 Handlingand4.8 Braking. Overall, the car has aPI of 870.

92016 Pagani Huayra BC
Supercar manufacturer Pagani arrived on the scene relatively recently when compared with some rival brands, but their cars can certainly compete with the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini when it comes to the track, as evidenced by the 2016 Pagani Huayra BC.
The car has a very well-balanced performance, with its main strengths being8.1 Speedand7.7 Acceleration. While this may seem comparatively slow when compared with the Bugatti Divo, the Pagani Huayra is mucheasier to control through cornerswith5.9 Handlingand5.8 Braking. Overall, this gives the Pagani Huayra aPI of 871.

81976 Ferrari #1 Scuderia Ferrari 312 T2
Driven by the likes of the legendary Niki Lauda and Gilles Villeneuve, the 1976 Ferrari 312 T2 won theFormula 1 Constructor’s Championshipand would have helped Lauda to a driver’s title too, if not for his infamous crash at The Nürburgring circuit.
This classic F1 car is, unsurprisingly, excellent in some areas, while simultaneously showing its age in others. With9.7 Acceleration, it is a fast starter, and with7.9 Handlingand7.8 Braking, it can handle tough corners at high speed. The only real weakness is its top speed, with a rating of just4.6 Speed. Overall, the car has aPI of 871.

71989 Ferrari F40 Competizione
The Ferrari F40 is, without a doubt, one of the most iconic designs ever produced by thelegendary Italian manufacturer. Sadly, the car became more of a showpiece than a race car, with only 10% of produced models ever being driven. Fortunately,Forza Motorsportgives players the chance to test it out on track.
The F40 is a well-balanced and versatile car that should be able to handle any track with its7.8 Speedand7.1 Handling. Racing can be a different matter though, with a comparatively weak6.5 Accelerationand6.6 Braking. Overall the car yields aPI of 874.

61976 Lotus #5 Team Lotus 77
The Lotus 77 is another classic F1 car from one of the sport’s golden eras. Piloted by Mario Andretti and Gunnar Nilsson, along with a guest appearance from Ronnie Peterson. The car achieved a Grand Prix victory at Suzuka circuit, as well as scoring podiums in Spain, Austria, Holland, and Canada.
The car is generally very strong around most circuits, though like many of the other classic cars, the Lotus 77 hasn’t aged brilliantly in all areas. The vehicle’s strengths include7.9 Accelerationand7.9 Handling, along with a very nice7.8 Braking, allowing drivers to take greater risks in braking zones. The car may struggle to keep up with some newer models along the straights, though, with only4.2 Speed. Overall, the 1976 Lotus 77 has aPI of 877.

52021 Porsche Mission R
Porsche’s all-electric Mission R is scheduled to compete in the FIA Electric GT Championship next year, and it is easy to see why this car’s racing debut is so highly anticipated. Originally conceived in 2021, The Mission R borrows parts from other iconic Porsche designs, including the 911 RSR and 718 Cayman GT4.
The car will cost players326,000 creditsto unlock, which may seem expensive given the relatively low base stats of the car. With aSpeed of 4.2andAcceleration clocking in at 6.1, along with a meager6.0 Brakingand5.9 Handling, there is plenty of potential for upgrades. However, the Porsche Mission R still achieved an overallPI of 879.

42017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro
The 2017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro is considered to be one of the “wildest” models ever produced by theprestigious English manufacturersbut in all the best ways. This track-only supercar is built very low to the ground with a sleek and modern aerodynamic design.
The statistics for the Vulcan are also impressive, with7.6 Brakingand7.5 Handlingbeing the Aston Martin’s main strengths. The car’s5.8 Speedmight not seem impressive at first, but with6.4 Accelerationthe car is still relatively powerful when exiting corners. Overall, the Vulcan has aPI of 885.

32021 Rimac Nevara
The 2021 Rimac Nevara is truly a cutting-edge piece of automotive technology. Limited to just 150 models, the Croatian-built electric hypercar is not a common sight outside the motor-centric principality of Monaco.
The straight-line speed of the Rimac Nevara is one of its greatest assets, with a total of9.4 Speedranking it among the highest in the R Class. Elsewhere, the Nevara can be a bit of a handful, particularly for inexperienced drivers, and this is reflected by the4.0 Handling,4.3 Acceleration, and4.2 Brakingstatistics. Overall, the Rimac Nevara has aPI of 886.

22015 Radical RXC Turbo
While British manufacturer Radical may be lesser-known than brands like Ferrari and Bugatti, the RXC Turbodoes all of its talking on the track. As another electric vehicle, this car might not sound like much, but the lap times should speak for themselves along with the overall feel of the car.
Though the RXC Turbo’s4.2 Speedmight not be much to cheer about, the car is very good in all other areas. With7.3 Handling,7.4 Acceleration, and7.2 Braking, the RXC Turbo shows itself to be a purpose-built track car and is more than capable of racing alongside the best in the R Class. Overall, the Radical RXC Turbo has aPI of 891.

The Dodge Challenger is one of the most iconic cars ever to come out of America, and the 2019 V8 Road Racing variant is no different, representing the pinnacle of the R class in its unmodified state. Unfortunately, the car is hidden behind a paywall, and players will need to purchaseForza Motorsport’s"Car Pass" to use it.
The TA Challenger has some modest statistics, but when combined overall, produces the highest Performance Index in the category. The Challenger has a mediocre5.4 Speed, with balanced stats in all other areas including7.3 Handling,7.2 Braking, and7.0 Acceleration. Overall, the Challenger has aPI of 898.
