Baldur’s Gate 3has a large cast of companions that you can recruit into your party. Jaheira is a character the party can meet in Act 2. If she survives your fight with Ketheric, she will join up with you. Jaheira is a half elf druid that can be useful on the battlefield. She is alsoa returning character from many gamesin the originalBaldur’s Gateseries.
Your party will finally reach the titular city of Baldur’s Gate in Act 3. Jaheira hints at the city being her home even though she detests it. you’re able to actually find her house and learn more about her backstory. Her hideout beneath the house contains some useful loot as well. Here is how you can get into her hideout.
Visit Jaheira’s Home in Baldur’s Gate
Jaheira’s can be found in theLower City part of Baldur’sGate at coordinates(X: -209, Y: 55.)It’s located conveniently just below and to the left of the Baldur’s Gate fast travel point. Bring Jaheira along and Fig will notice her before running inside. Jaheira will begrudgingly invite the party in to meet her family.
Rion and the others will greet Jaheira and reveal their strange family dynamic. She has adopted many children and trained them in self-defense.
Pin Slot Solution
Jaheira’s study is located at the back of the house. Look for the room with all the plants being tended to by Jord. The party may pass a perception check and highlight thePin Sloton the side of her desk. A key item needs to be inserted to activate it.
Head upstairs and find the nervous young boy namedTatein one of the bedrooms. He will stutter through his introduction to your party. At the end of the conversation, he will give Jaheira theHarp-Shaped Pin.Bring this item back downstairs and insert it into the Pin Slot. The floor will open,revealing the secret entrance.
Jaheira’s Hideout
Descend into the cave and don’t worry about the traps as they won’t trigger. At the bottom is a small building with a few chests. Your party may notice that thebookcasebehind a chest is locked. You can lockpick this bookcase or find the key under the floorboards to the right of the chest. Touching the floorboards will trigger a trap that does some damage to your party. Enter the hidden room to loot some items with importance to Jaheira that work well withher Druid class skilllset.
