Babylon’s Fallhas players battling through multiple arenas against a wide range of foes. Players will need to use every advantage afforded to them to face the ever-increasing challenges thrown at them. InBabylon’s Fall, players have a host of different weapons at their disposal to tackle the Tower of Babel. When the playerfirst chooses their faction, this will inform what weapon they start with, but fortunately the player is able to switch around whatever they please. Even the tankiest build can add a bow if they are so inclined.
There are seven (if considering the shield as a weapon) weapons for the player to equip to their sentinel. It is important to note that every weapon is capable of beingupgraded at the forge.

Swords
Swords are all around generally good melee choices for just about all characters. They are quick and capable of delivering great combo chains when combined with the other weapon choices.

When equipped on the Gideon Coffin, the sword is ridiculously powerful, capable of delivering near constant DPS on a foe by simply holding the trigger. The sword will constantly slash in front of the player, allowing them to maintain spacing and deliver combos with the regular wielded weapons.
Hammers
Hammers are strong and slow, meant mostly for tank builds. Players can charge their hammer to deliver high damage attacks on foes that may stun or prone them. It can also be used effectively to launch foes in the air, allow for the player to jump up and slam them down after doing so. In combination with a sword it can be used to deliver a strong final blow on a combo.
When equipped on the Gideon Coffin, the player is able to continuously hold the trigger to charge a devastating slam attack. This is entirely uninterruptible if the player has enough Spirit built up, allowing for attackseven while prone or otherwise immobilized.

Bows (Repeating and Power)
Two bow types are available inBabylon’s Fall, and given that the player can wield four types of weapons at any given time, it is highly recommended that any class bring a bow with them. Players will find themselves in a few situations where enemies are posted up on areas inaccessible to them. In these cases, they will have to use some sort of ranged attack in order to deal with these. Usually, the game will provide ranged weapons that the player can pick up in these types of areas, but they are limited to five uses before needing to cool down and respawn.
Players have access to both repeating bows and power bows. Repeating bows fire in quick succession at the expense of lower damage; meanwhile, Power bows fire slower but deal higher damage. Players whose builds are not based on range may still find it useful to find a bow useful toequip to the Gideon Coffin, so it can be used in-tandem with melee strikes while affording ranged capability.

Wands and Rods
Wands and rods perform a similar function: casting magic at range. They are similar to bows in that one is capable more of swift, low-damage attacks (wands), while the other deals slow, high-damage hits (rods).
They can be used to great effect in the Gideon Coffin; however, they tax spirit very heavily. Players wanting to include them should also have a bow equipped as their standard attack, to build spirit from distance.Players can also get equipmentthat can increases spirit for longer sustained use.

Shields
Finally, players can use shields to absorb enemy attacks. Having a shield equipped in the standard slot will allow the player to block attacks, and if timed correctly, it can parry, which allows for a strong counterattack. When equipped on the Gideon Coffin, the player can hold the trigger to pop up a large aerial shield that will block all sorts of projectile attacks. This can be especially useful against all types of bow type foes and the bosses who fire large magic projectiles.
Using the different weapon types in various combinations can allow for some unique play styles to emerge, and it is encouraged tovisit the forge in the hub worldto enhance these as well. It is highly encouraged to play around with all of them regardless of class, and find a combination that suits the player well.
