It appears thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallais shaping up to be one of the biggest games this year. Of course, while the game itself has receivedmostly positive reviews from players and critics, its release alongside the PS5 and Xbox Series X also helped its performance thanks to early adopters looking to test out their new consoles' capabilities.

However, as with any game that has just been released, it appears that players are encountering some bugs and glitches inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. While most of the issues are minor, one specific bug has been causing headaches to players who are just starting their Viking adventure. InAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, players will encounter a quest called Seer’s Solace early in the game. This quest is required for players to progress the story, but it appears now that some are unable to trigger the quest.

At the moment, the exact reason why this is happening remains unclear. However, some players predict that this may be the game’s way to encourage players to explorethe vast open-world environment ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallainstead of rushing straight to the main campaign. Luckily for players, Ubisoft has been made aware of the problem and has since introduced a hotfix. Players should note that this fix doesn’t require players to download any update, given that the studio deployed the hotfix on the game’s server. For now, players who encounter the issue must restart their game for the fix to work.

Ubisoft also confirmed that it would be introducing a more permanent fix, which will likely be added toAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’sfirst big update, which is scheduled to release “later this month.” Of course, just like with any other big updates, the upcoming one is expected to also introduce several quality-of-life improvements alongside bug fixes apart from the one mentioned above.

Meanwhile, it appears thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallais already performing well in the market now that it has been revealed that the game is taking top billing in terms of physical sales in the UK. Furthermore, Ubisoft was proud to announce several days ago thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallaalready has double the number of players at launchcompared to its immediate predecessor, which is 2018’sAssassin’s Creed Odyssey.
