Assault legends are the ideal pick for players wanting to create pressure and advance on enemies. There are currently five assault legends inApex Legends,and they bring different playstyles to the table. 5Fuse
Nothing beats the fun of unleashing a bombardment of explosive mayhem as Fuse. While fun is a joy to play casually, his abilities fall short in skilled lobbies as they can be dodged easily. Players should never underestimate Fuse, as his Knuckle Cluster tactical can temporarily lock down areas and mask audio that can allow for a sneaky revive.
Thebest way to use Fuseis to time abilities and wait for critical moments such as enemy revives or low-health enemies hiding in cover. Fuse is one of the best legends for flushing out enemies from cover and can even counter defensive legends such as Caustic.
Fuse also pairs well with Horizon’s ultimate. Coordinating Horizon’s ultimate with a bombardment of grenades from Fuse will dish out lots of damage on opponents when done right. Fuse can fire grenades faster than other legends and can carry two grenades per inventory slot.
With the recent buffs to shotguns and nerfs to SMGs, Mad Maggie is worth trying out. Mad Maggie is a good legend for pushing buildings due to her tactical and passive. Mad Maggie’s passive allows her to move faster with shotguns. Her tactical is ideal for forcing enemies to move away from doors.

Mad Maggie is the perfect legend for aggressive players that love to push buildings with one of thebest shotguns inApex Legends. Mad Maggie is perfect for countering defensive legends such as Rampart, as her tactical will punish players hiding behind Rampart’s walls.
The only downside to Mad Maggie is how unreliable her ultimate is. The bouncing of her Wrecking Ball is unpredictable and has a high chance of hitting a teammate and stunning them. Mad Maggie’s ultimate is ideal in open areas and the speed buff it provides.
3Ballistic
Ballistic has the most unique abilities inApex Legends.His entire kit directly affects weapons and is a perfect pick for players that love to focus on gunfights. Ballistic can carry an additional weapon due to his passive, but Sling weapons cannot receive any attachments.
Players have more flexibility in creating theirideal weapon loadoutas they can pick weapons to cover all ranges. Carrying a shotgun in the Sling allows players to have a backup gun for close-quarter fights. His tactical is perfect for 1v1’s as it forces enemy players to play passively once struck by the Whistler. The best part of Ballsitic’s kit is his ultimate, Tempest.
Once Tempest is activated, Ballistic and his team have faster-armed move speed, reloads, and infinite ammo. Tempest provides a buff to Ballistic’s Sling weapon and temporarily upgrades the weapon to gold rarity.
2Ash
With one of the most underutilized tactical in the game, Ash is a powerful legend only with a coordinated team. Ash’s Arc Snare deals 20 damage to shields but will lock an enemy in place for four seconds. Any enemy caught in a bad location can be taken down by Ash and a teammate.
As for finding enemies, Ash’s passive can locate nearby action by locating loot boxes under 3 minutes old. Finding recent death boxes works to find potential enemies to third-party and get an easy kill. Since many of Ash’s abilities require her to be aggressive, her Phase Breach ultimate provides her an excellent opportunity to relocate.

Her Phase Breach is amongthe best ultimates inApex Legendsand has many uses. Ash can quickly teleport onto another enemy team and overwhelm them if Ash’s portal is placed correctly. Ash can also instantly flee from an unfavorable fight using her ultimate and allow her teammates to do the same if they are close to her.
1Bangalore
Bangalore is one of the strongest legends inApex Legends.Her smoke screen creates lots of flexibility to alter a fight. Players can use her defensively and use smoke screens to heal, revive teammates or run from a fight. Bangalore’s smokes can also be used offensively by firing it at enemies and blocking their vision temporarily, or they can be used as a decoy to distract enemies.
Bangalore’s passive is among the best in the game. Double Time gives Bangalore a 30% speed increase for two seconds when bullets fly near her, making her harder to shoot when in a 1v1 or running away to safety.
As for her ultimate,Rolling Thunder requires precise timingbut will only affect a fight in the open. Rolling Thunder only works in the open but will force enemies to evacuate the vicinity temporarily. Rolling Thunder can be thrown when a teammate is knocked and give a chance for a revive if enemies back away. Enemies hit by Rolling Thunder will be stunned for a time and will be easy to kill.
