The Game Awards is one of gaming’s most significant annual events in gaming, on the same level as industry showcases like E3 and Gamescom. The 2022 Game Awards were pretty good in that regard, and some of these games will soon be arriving onThe Epic Games Store. Here’s a quick rundown of the games from TGA 2022 confirmed as coming toThe Epic Games Storeand a few that might arrive at some point in the future. Note that none of these games are Epic exclusives, so players who want to avoid that storefront will still have ways to check out these upcoming titles.

Hades 2
Developed by Supergiant Games as a sequel to its roguelike action gameHades,Hades 2players take the role of the Greek minor goddess Melinoeas she attempts to save her father Hades and defeat the escaped Titan Chronos. Supergiant’s first-ever sequel features the same gameplay and unique art style fans loved in the first game but a new story, new characters, and new biomes to explore.Hades 2launches in early access on The Epic Game Store and Steam in 2023.
Judas
Developed by Ghost Story Games,Judasis the upcoming narrative FPS helmed by BioShock director Ken Levine. Players take the role of the titular Judas, a young woman trapped on a decaying starship with her worst enemies. Working together may be her only chance for survival as players unravel Judas’ mysterious past and face the choice of whether to fix what she broke or simply watch it all burn.Judasis in development for Xbox Series S/X, PS5, and PC on Steam and The Epic Game Store.
Star Wars: Jedi Survivor
While EA technically announcedStar Wars: Jedi Survivorin January, players were treated to their first look at its gameplay during The Game Awards on December 8th. Set five years afterStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the player once more takes the role of protagonist Cal Kestis in the years shortly after the rise of the Galactic Empire. As one of the galaxy’s few remaining Jedi, Kal must do “whatever it takes” to stay alive while navigating the schemes of a mysterious Imperial Senator.Star Wars: Jedi Survivorlaunches on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 17th, 2023.
Initially announced in 2020, developers revealed the release date forSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueduring the Game Awards. Developed by Rocksteady studios, the game takes place in Metropolis after the events of 2015’sBatman: Arkham Knight. The game sees Amanda Waller activate the titular Suicide Squad after the villain Brainiac brainwashes the Justice League to serve him. Players control the DC villains Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark in an open-world action-adventure game.Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguereleases May 26th, 2023, for PC, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S.
The Lords of the Fallen
Originally announced in August, fans finally sawThe Lords of the Fallen’s gameplayreveal during the 2022 Game Awards. The sequel to Deck13’sLords of the Fallentakes place 1,000 years after the first game and is a dark fantasy Soulslike that sees the tyrannical Fallen Gods return to take vengeance on humanity for rebelling against them.The Lords of the Fallenis in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.

Returnal’s PC Port
Housemarque releasedReturnalas a PS5 exclusive in 2021and it’s now on its way to PC. Developed by Finnish studio Housemarque, the game follows astronaut Selene Vassos as she finds herself trapped in a time loop on the mysterious planet Atropos. A third-person roguelike combining elements of psychological horror and bullet hell shooters,Returnalenjoys an 86% on Metacritic. It also won Best Action Game at the 2021 Game Awards and multiple awards from the British Academy Games Awards, including Best Game.Returnal’s PC port launches on The Epic Game Store and Steam in 2023.
Remnant 2
The sequel to Gunfire Game’sRemnant: From the Ashes,Remnant 2was announced at The Game Awards. It will see players and up to two friends battle strange and horrific monsters and delve into forgotten corners as they make their stand against an evil threatening the world itself. Developers say the sequel will feature the same frantic yet methodical combat from the first game but with new worlds to explore and enemies to fight. The game also boasts branching questlines and an expanded progression system.Remnant 2is in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
Replaced
Replacedis a 2.5D pixel-art retro-futuristic cyberpunk action platformer from Coatsink and Sad Cat Studios. Players take the role of R.E.A.C.H., an artificial intelligence unwillingly downloaded into a human body. The game takes place in an alternate 1980s where advanced technology meets unchecked greed and corruption, and human organs are just another commodity. Initially announced in 2021, developers released its World Premiere trailer at the 2022 Game Awards.Replacedlaunches on Steam, the Epic Game Store, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S in 2023.
Wild Hearts
Omega Force’sWild Heartstasks players with using ancient technology to take down ferocious beasts. Developers describe these massive creatures called Kemono as “the embodiment of the power of nature.” Imbued with elemental powers, they have turned on humanity for unknown reasons. Players can take on these beasts solo or with friends whenWild Heartsreleases for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on February 16th, 2023.
Games That Might Come to the Epic Games Store
That covers all the games confirmed to be on their way to the Epic Game Store, though a few more might get there eventually.Tekken 8uses Epic’s Unreal Engine 5, and the two companies are reportedly working closely on the project. Meanwhile,Death Strandingand the first twoBaldur’s Gategames are already on the Epic Game Store, so it wouldn’t be surprising ifDeath Stranding 2orBaldur’s Gate 3show up there eventually. Lastly,Final Fantasy 16could joinFF7 RemakeandStrager of Paradiseafter its PlayStation exclusivity ends in 2024.
