Within the closing days ofFortniteChapter 5 Season 2, players have been provided with plenty of opportunity to unlock even more XP to further their levels in the Battle Pass and claim those pages and rewards yet seen.Fortnite’s last 10 days see Dummy feature as an important NPC found in the Battle Royale map, where he has provided a few quests to players that will grant rewards in terms of cosmetics and XP.
These exclusive Battle Royale quests are here to help players reach a higher level for the Battle Pass, and Dummy’s Joyride quests are bound to feature a Wild Week forFortniteplayers, to those prepared or unprepared for what awaits them in Chapter 5 Season 3.
All Dummy’s Joyride Quests
There are 11 Dummy’s Joyride quests inFortnite, and each of which tasks players with a unique challenge that needs to be completed. Listed below, are each of these quests, and the easiest path to complete them:
Reward
Fuel up Sports Cars at gas stations (0/50)
Sports Cars can be found across the map, and they are noted for only seating two players. Once found, drive them around and exhaust them by using the boost, and then head to a gas station to fill them back up. There are 8 gas stations on the map, and here’s where to find them all:
Players can fill up the car by parking next to the gas pump, hitting the activate button to hold it, and then holding the shoot button directed at the car to fill it up.
10,000 XP
Travel distance in a Sports Car (0/3,000)
The easiest way to complete this quest is to set a marker on the map rather far away to measure the distance in meters, and then drive there. Sticking to roads will get players to their location faster, but they risk being shot by opponents. Players might also have to take multiple trips, as their vehicles may run out of fuel since 3,000 meters is rather far in-game.
Emote at Grim Gate, Brawler’s Battleground, or Mount Olympus (0/1)
Any emote will reward players with completion of this quest, but it has to be done at any of the three specified locations:
Poseidon Spray
Destroy objects while in a vehicle (0/50)
Any vehicle will do, but players will need to drive into one and just go wild when it comes to hitting objects. Some objects, like fences and bushes, will be destroyed instantly on impact with enough speed, so just enjoy hitting things and watch out for the car’s durability.
Deliver a Sports Car to Dummy (0/1)
Dummy is found at Piney Pumps, just West of Lavish Lair.
It’s wise to land here immediately from the Battle Bus, as with new quests, other players will attempt the same, and doing so will ensure that players get there before the Sports Cars are destroyed, or Dummy is eliminated. The gas station that Dummy stays at usually contains a Sports Car or two already present, so just drive it straight to him.
Drive a Sports Car in different named locations (0/4)
Simply find a Sports Car on the map, and drive it through any of the 4 named locations found on the map. There are 13 named locations on the map, and players can drive to any of these across multiple rounds, not just in one game.
Damage opponents while in a vehicle (0/300)
The easiest path to completing this quest is to try and run people over at full speed, or quickly switch to the passenger seat by clicking in R3 and then spraying them down at close range with shotguns and SMGs. Alternatively, players can sit in the passenger seat and fight Olympian Bosses and their minions.
Jump a Sports Car and travel 70 meters before landing (0/70)
Whilst riding a Sports Car off a cliff seems enticing, the easiest way to finish this quest is to play in Build Mode, and far from everyone else, build stairs upwards at least 70 meters and then drive the car off of it, and be sure to land it.
Purchase Items at vending machines or Mod Benches (0/7)
Vending Machines and Mod Benches can be found throughout the map.
Mod Benches are located in Bunkers and Sky Island, but the spawns each round are random. Simply purchase items with Gold, or equip attachments on guns through Mod Benches to continue.
Spend bars in different matches (0/5)
Gold Bars are acquired through eliminating players, opening cash registers, and completing bounties. Once players have amassed a fortune, head over to NPCs or vending machines and purchase 5 items.
Dummy’s Joyride Quest Rewards
With 11 Dummy’s Joyride quests, players can earn a bundle of XP.10 of these quests will grant 10,000 XP, which might not seem a lot, as just for one level up, players are going to need 80,000 XP. Nevertheless, the reward is there, and one of these quests will even grant the wall.Completing 7 of these quests grants the Medusa Spray, andcompleting 10 in total provides the Stygian Temptation Loading Screen.
